How to download a Tripo model as GLB
GLB is the cleanest Tripo download: one file, materials and textures together, and it opens in Blender, web viewers and many engines without a convert step. This guide shows how to get the original GLB, not a re-encoded copy.
Download the Tripo GLB, step by step
- 1
Copy the Tripo link
From studio.tripo3d.ai, copy a Studio generate workspace URL or a community /3d-model/ page you can already open.
- 2
Sign in and analyze
Sign in with Google, paste the link in Tripo Grab, and analyze it. Check the preview, title and asset list before downloading.
- 3
Download the original GLB
Choose Download original. When the source is already GLB, you keep that exact file, so PBR materials survive untouched.
- 4
Zip textures if they are separate
If textures are listed as separate assets, tick them and download one zip next to the GLB, so you can relink maps in Blender or an engine later.
Keep the original Tripo GLB
- Download the original GLB before you convert to anything else.
- If the asset list shows an FBX as the main file, download that original too, then convert from it — do not treat a preview convert as the master file.
- Keep the GLB filename and the texture zip together in one project folder.
Tripo GLB questions
Is Tripo GLB the same as the model on Tripo?+
Yes, when you download the original. AI3DGrab does not regenerate the model; it downloads the file Tripo already serves for that link.
Can I use Tripo GLB in Blender?+
Yes. Import it with File > Import > glTF 2.0 in Blender. Materials and PBR maps should arrive with the single GLB file.
Do you store the Tripo mesh?+
No. The file streams through and downloads to your machine. Only job metadata is kept.
Try it on your own model
Paste a link you can already open, preview it, then download the format you need.
