Converter · GLB → OBJ
OBJ is old, plain and accepted almost everywhere. AI3DGrab writes the OBJ plus an MTL and the texture files, so the material does not arrive as a grey surprise.

What changes
Every format is a trade. This is the honest version for GLB → OBJ, so nothing surprises you after the import.
Steps
Download it from Meshy or Tripo first. OBJ is an interchange copy, not a master file.
Paste the link in AI3DGrab and check the mesh and asset list before converting.
Choose OBJ in the download panel. The browser writes the OBJ, its MTL and the maps as one set.
Move the OBJ, MTL and texture folder into the target app in the same relative paths. Renaming or splitting them breaks the material link.
AI3DGrab opens models you can already access in your own Meshy or Tripo account. Paste the model link, preview it, then download the original or convert it. It does not bypass plans and does not ask for a Meshy or Tripo password.
FAQ
Yes — as separate image files plus an MTL that points at them. Keep the files together; the OBJ alone is geometry only.
When the receiving tool is old, simple, or refuses glTF and FBX. For game engines, FBX is still the safer path.
No. OBJ stores geometry, UVs and material groups. Animation and rigs stay in the GLB or FBX.
It works, but STL or 3MF is more common. Print tools treat OBJ as a surface mesh and ignore the material anyway.
